13 gold rings and a span that weighed a total of 11 lod and 1 1/4 kvintin, gold-plated spoons and shells weighing 1 1/2 marks, 1 belt with pearls and "a wheel with a walck", weighing a total of 5 marks 3 lod, and 15 1/2 lod "coral", and
12. 2,000 Danish marks. Furthermore, it was decided that Henrik Sewenick would manage the properties under the responsibility of mainte- nance and accounting until Anders Harcke became of age, that Hans Byng- er would take care of the gold, silver, and coral and that the estate would be divided into two parts, one for Anders Harcke and the other for Karine and Henrik Sewenick.
On the other hand, Henrik Sewenick would be responsible for all of the estate's debts and would receive the rest of the inheritance, consisting of:
1. a stone house garden located west of "Helliglegomme gord i skoma- gere boderne" which is located on the land lot 304, V, in quarter number 29 Hans Michelsen,
2. the garden located west of the church bathhouse and called Aeders garden, currently occupied by Niels Olsen brewer,
3. a windmill located south of Malmo,
4. three booths in Falsterbo, located in the aforementioned street and taking up the western part of the garden located there,
5. all "Boo oc booskaff, alt got och kiopmandskab" meaning all furni- ture and assets and all goods related to the deceased's business, and
6. the remaining half of the estate's gold, silver, jewels and coral. However, Henrik Sewenick died in early February 1519, and it is stated
in the city's records that the mayor and council sent Lille Per bysvan over Helsingborg to the king with a letter on the 7th of that month, the contents of which are not mentioned. Due to Sewenick's death, an agreement was made between his wife Karine and Hans Bynger on Wednesday, February 23rd in the presence of the canon of Lund, the superintendent of Jung- frukloster, Aage Jepsen, in order to ensure the 2,000 marks that were part of Anders Harcke's inheritance. The following gold and silver items were handed over to Hans Bynger for his ward's sake:
7. 1 gilded silver bowl with 13 gilded buttons " 431/2 " 6 "
8. 5 gold rings, 4 gold spoons, 1 gold cross and 1 gold chain " 86 " 4 " 9. 20 marks 2 lod of Swedish silver
10. the aforementioned garden by the shoemaker's booths with timber storage
Sometime later, Hans Bynger,, obtained a letter from the King in which
the King declared that he would take and accept Anders Harcke and his property under his royal protection and appointed Hans Bynger to manage and oversee the estate until Anders Harcke was deemed "legitimate" and "competent" to manage his inheritance himself. With this royal letter, Hans Bynger presented himself before the city council on Monday, June 20th,
