As the first black senior executive in Sopra
Steria, a leading European digital transfor-
mation firm, Dr. Nneka Abulokwe used her
platform to inspire and motivate ethnic
minority people across the organisation
and farther afield. Following a very suc-
cessful 25yrs + corporate career, she set
up MicroMax Consulting, a board advisory
service, to make a greater impact and in-
spire beyond the bounds of tech industry
and to contribute positively to society and
foster diversity and inclusion in the work-
place. This is being achieved by bringing
diversity to the top table by serving on
several boards and shaping the strategic
& diversity agendas of large organisation
and professional institutions. Nneka is the
first black female chair of the Board Nomi-
nations Committee for the Information Sys-
tems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

Foluke Akinlose is founder of PRE-
CIOUS, the leading online network
and resource for women of colour
in business and leadership (www.
preciousonline.co.uk) Launched in
1999, it is the first digital publica-
tion aimed at women of colour to
launch in the UK. This led her in
2007 to launch The Precious cele-
brating women of colour in busi-
ness and leadership and endorsed
as ‘vital’ by former PM David Camer-
on. In 2018, she launched the PRE-
CIOUS Lifestyle Awards at Google
HQ which shine a light in women of
colour in the creative industries.
