The Bristows have a long history in horseracing in Ontario owning and breeding horses in the province.
Most noted for their partnership in racing with Eugene Melnyk,

of Anthony Luciano of
Lucky DiLuciano Stable, mentioned that they had a winner earlier in the card, Nevaeh’s Valentine, named after his niece Nevaeh (Heaven spelled backwards) in the sixth.
The 6 year-old gelding by Giant Gizmo is a talented runner out of the Luciano’s mare Be My Valentine who produced 3 foals, two of which started and are winners.
The day before, Nevaeh’s Dream, a 3 year-old full brother to Nevaeh’s Valentine, was a good second, looking for his second career

David Schmidt claimed Be My Valentine for $25,000 in September 2003, a lly who amassed 5 wins for Lucky DiLuciano Stable before they retired her to the breeding shed a year later in September 2004.
Nevaeh’s Valentine is stakes placed, nishing third in the 2016 Sir Barton Stakes and is currently the stable’s top performer with earnings of more than $225,000 with 4 wins, 4 seconds & 3 thirds in 22 starts.
Sent to stud duty Archers Bay sadly died from a bout of colic in 2002 after siring only three crops.
A son from the stallion’s rst crop, Arch Hall, a graded stakes winner of more than $725,000, was raced by Melnyk Racing Stable. He retired to stud duty in 2009 at the Bristow’s Cathcart- Bristow Farms in Campbellville, ON where he stood until 2017.
