LongRun Thoroughbred Retirement Society’s Black & White Gala - Sept. 23, 2005
The Woodbine gala tent was beautifully decorated in its black and white flare. The evening appeared to go off without a hitch for the first annual LongRun Black & White Gala. The dinner was delicious, the entertainment terrific and the door prizes and auction items were great and it appeared that a good time was had by all who attended. A total of $38,600 was raised for LongRun through the 50/50 draw and auctions and the total amount raised is expected to rise slightly once sponsorship donations have been tallied.
