Former racetrack exercise rider, Dorie Nightingale, says she is more determined than ever to help people on the racetrack combat fatigue, not only physically but mentally with her Jade Aesthetics massage.
Dorie has had her massage business for five years now and she recently returned from
an exciting trip to the
Jade Spa in Nevis, a
tiny Carribean Island off of St. Kitts. In Nevis she met and was able to learn from Professor Charles McWilliams who developed the Jade Aesthetics, Integrative Natural Medicine Practice.
Dorie says that
people come to the
island from all over
the world to spend
days or a week at the
Jade Spa where they
receive the all natural
healing therapy which
consists of lymphatic
drainage massage and high-frequency therapeutics with multi wave oscillation.
Dorie Nightingale says the people at the racetrack are like family to her and she wants to help her “family” combat burn-out and fatigue with an all natural mas- sage at her in-home business called Vitality Zone.
It may sound technical, but it really isn’t. Basically, as Dorie explains, she uses a massage technique to open up the lymphatic system to release any “plugged” portions in the system which can lead to disease.
A lymphatic drainage massage helps to relax and heal sore muscles and ligaments coupled with aromatherapy using Young Living essential oils, Dorie says her clients leave very relaxed, “Some of my clients say they feel like they are floating after I’ve worked on them.”
Dorie also offers a massage facial using probes to break up calcification in the face which smooths and fills in age lines.
Dorie says that after working on the racetrack she can relate to the mental and physical stress on the body that many horsepeople face and with Jade Aesthetics, she is offering an all-natural healing therapy which helps with relaxation, beauty and healing.
