NAPOLEON BONAPARTE – was a French statesman
and military leader who rose to prominence
during the French Revolution and led several
successful campaigns during the French
Revolutionary Wars. He organized the French
Intelligence Bureaus - Bureau of Intelligence,
which consolidate incoming information regarding
the enemy and Topographic Bureau, which
maintains a large map which covers the latest
information regarding both enemy and friendly
forces. He maintained Military Intelligence and
Secret Political Police Service all over Europe.
NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER – a
disorder characterized by an exaggerated sense of
self-importance and pre-occupation with receiving
attention. The person usually expects and
demands special treatment from others and
disregarding the rights and feeling of others.
NARCOTIC DRUG – a chemical agent that can induce
stupor, coma, or insensibility to pain. The term
usually refers to opiates or opioids, which are
sometimes referred to as narcotic analgesics.
NATIONAL AGENCY CHECK – is an investigation of
an individual made upon the basis of written
information supplied by him in response to official
inquiry, and by reference to appropriate national
agencies. It is simply a check of the files and record
of national agencies.
