NEGLECT – failure to provide, for reasons other than
poverty, adequate food, clothing, shelter, basic
education or medical care so as to seriously
endanger the physical, mental, social and
emotional growth and development of the child.
NEGLECT OF DUTY – also called nonfeasance; the
omission of some act, which ought to be performed.
Is the omission or refusal, without sufficient excuse, to
perform an act duty, which was the Peace Officer's
legal obligation to perform, it implies a duty as well
as its breach and the fact can never be found in the absence
of a duty.
NEGLECTED CHILD – is one whose basic needs have
been deliberately unattended or inadequately
attended.

investigation, the objective is to identify and
interview in person all individuals in the area where
the victim was kidnapped and or last known
sighting area.
