Pamela Hutchinson
Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion,
Bloomberg
With more than 20 years’ experience in the sector, Pamela is
one of the world’s leading diversity and inclusion talents and
has a string of awards to prove it. Now in a global role, she
was headhunted for her initial EMEA role at Bloomberg after
being Northern Trust’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer
for EMEA and APAC.
She was awarded Head of Diversity of the Year at the
2016 European Diversity Awards and was featured in
the 2016 and 2017 Global Diversity List of the Top 50
Diversity Professionals.
In recognition of her services in human resources she was
awarded a spot on Timewise’s Power Part Time list in 2014.
The previous year she was an Inspirational Role Model of the
Year finalist at the European Diversity Awards.
A law graduate, Pamela is a trustee at The Inspiring
Leadership Trust, which empowers women and girls to
achieve financial and personal independence through
education and employment, and aims to raise the profile
of charities and projects benefiting vulnerable children
and women.
She partners closely with HR and business leaders
to facilitate the integration of diversity and inclusion
into people and business processes and practices while
simultaneously holding the companies and leaders
accountable for progress.
Outside of work, she is trustee for the London Bubble
Theatre, which specialises in community theatre.
Since her promotion in September 2018, Pamela has
significantly ramped up D&I efforts worldwide at Bloomberg
Netsai Mangwende and has been in great demand as a keynote speaker and
advisor. She consults with senior executives at several major
Head of Finance for Great Britain, financial institutions to share best practices and thought
Willis Towers Watson leadership to support their D&I agenda.
An experienced finance professional with 13 years’
experience in the London insurance market, Netsai
previously worked for AIG as Head of Finance Business
Partnering, UK and Europe.
She joined AIG in 2011 as a Financial Planning and
Analysis (FP&A) Manager. She was promoted to Head of UK
FP&A within a year of joining and subsequently promoted to
UK Finance Director.
A Chartered Accountant by training, Netsai describes
her role as challenging the operation of business, acting
as a catalyst for change and identifying opportunities for
improvement and development.
Prior to Willis Tower Watson and AIG, she worked
for Royal & Sun Alliance, Deloitte & Touche and
PriceWaterhouseCoopers, in the UK, Bermuda and Africa.
In 2014, she was presented with the Women in the City
Woman of Achievement Award.
She is well known for mentoring and inspiring emerging
leaders, and has actively sponsored rising stars. In June
2016, one of her mentees, Adobea Atsrefi, was named in
We Are The City’s Top 50 rising stars in Insurance.
Netsai is Treasurer and founding member of the Nation
Ladies, a cross-industry network of black female leaders.
She coaches and advises her peers on how to establish
successful black employee networks.
