Jewel-Osco Driver Mark H. was the company leader for the 13
annual Special Olympics Illinois Truck Convoy in Tinley Park. It’s a volunteer
role he has taken on for several years and usually during his vacation!
More than 75 trucks participated in the event, raising $32,200
October 6 , 2017 for the organization.
Law enforcement escorted the trucks 22 miles along a portion of
Jewel-Osco partnered with the Chicago Humanities Festival I-80 and I-57.
by donating popcorn, bananas and water. More than 1,000 7
people attended the musical event.
