2018 Scholarship Winner

Nolan Johnson
Store #3415 – Spring Grove, Cashier Joining Nolan and his Mom above was
University of Wisconsin-Parkside #2501 Glenview Sean F. and Sean’s
Mom Debbie Finnegan.
While earning his Bachelor’s Degree, Nolan served in a variety of positions in school sponsored extracurricular
activities, most notably his role as a Secretary in the Business Club at the College of Lake County. Nolan is
driven to do the best in all that he does and feels that his work experiences have shaped him into the
confident, hard-working, and passionate leader he is today. His Store Director describes him as a “model
employee” that “can always be counted on.” Nolan is committed to his work at Jewel-Osco where he recently
accepted an opportunity in the 2018 Summer Business Internship Program. This opportunity is one step
forward in furthering his career with the company. Nolan plans to utilize his degree in hopes of advancing his
store management career within Jewel-Osco. For this, we are proud to have selected Nolan Johnson as the 21
first recipient of the Brian Finnegan Award.
