                                                                       50 years later Eva admits to many changes, but one thing has
                                                                       not changed she says. “Jewel-Osco has some amazing, hard
                                                                       working, dedicated people and I am lucky to have worked
                                                                       with so many of them.”

                                                                       During her five decades she has worked at many different
                                                                       locations, some no longer around, and has held several management
                                                                       positions. “We were like a big family. We all worked together
                                                                       to take care of the customer. We took pride in our store and
                                                                       all of us worked really hard.”

                                                                       Earlier this year Eva stepped down to part-time status and is
