Housing
MSSG students have the option of choosing to live in our independent housing or with a local host family. Both options have been thoroughly vetted and are safe, clean and comfortable. The student apartments
are located in San Javier, a beautiful and safe neighborhood where the majority of CIMAT students and many professors reside. It is perfectly situated between the city center and CIMAT, with the bus stop just a short five minute walk away.
Homestays are located in various locations throughout the city. In these options, the student has the support of the family to learn the language, culture and general tips about living in Guanajuato. This option also provides two meals a day and laundry services.
