Just some of the books and DVDs I read and watched on the subject of health
The book also encourages you to not eat anything after 8 pm. This is to give our bodies and digestive system a rest. So basically I followed EXACTLY what the book suggested for 10 days. The results were immediate. I felt better, had more energy and lost weight in those 10 days.
This really intrigued me and I not only started to read the entire Fit For Life book, but also literally hundreds of other books on health, fasting, juicing, raw food diets, how to cure yourself of cancer, asthma, diabetes, on the medical business, vaccines, medical and alternative treatments and everything I could get my hands on. Including motivation, positive thinking and business success as well.
And as the result, I completely changed my outlook on health and life in general. Instead of thinking the world owed me a living, I got involved in being more giving.
Instead of thinking a doctor or some
medical drug can make me healthy.
I took responsibility for my own and my family’s health and what I put INTO my body and my mind.
I became literally obsessed with knowledge about health. And I applied it immediately. I cut out ALL alcohol, dairy products, coffee, tea, meat, chicken, fish, eggs, chicken, sugar and all processed or deep fried foods. I went on a whole new journey of health for the next 20 years. I only ate FRUIT ONLY for 6 months at one point . . . and for 2 years I ate an ALL RAW FOOD diet. Just fruit, nuts and vegetables. All eaten raw. NOTHING was cooked.
The results? I felt fantastic. I lost 18 kilos in 3 months and had so much energy I sometimes felt like an energiser bunny. My migraines disappeared, so did my wheezy bronchitic breathing, hay-fever allergies and sinus problems. And I saw through personal experience that WHAT we eat and think does make a HUGE difference to our well being and staying healthy. Rather than relying on some “miracle” drug or pill to keep me healthy.
