Hi, Kids! Have fun coloring, reading, and exploring with Max and his friends.
One Mission
¡Hola! My name is Paco. Kids
Welcome to Spain!
Presents
I am 8 years old, and I live in Madrid, Spain.
From September to June, I go to school at
9:00 a.m. I return home to have a big lunch
with my parents and brother at 1:00 p.m.
After eating my lunch and taking a short
time to rest called a “siesta,” I return
to school until 4:30 p.m.
Since my school does not have air
conditioning, we do not have school on
June afternoons. It is too hot!
I like to play fútbol (soccer) with my friends after school.
August is my favorite month because my family goes to the
beach, just like many other Spanish families.
“Declare his glory among the
MAX’s TRAX nations, his marvelous works
among all the peoples!
The Kingdom of Spain is located in southwestern Europe. With beautiful —Psalm 96:3 ESV
coastlines, stone castles, and historic windmills, the country is a little
larger than twice the size of the US state of Oregon. Spain shares its
borders with five nations; France, Portugal, Andorra, Gibraltar, and
Morocco. One Mission Society began working in Spain in 1972. Here are
some of our favorite things about Spain.
Barcelona
Madrid
• Alhambra (“the red fortress”), Pyramids of
Guimar, and the Rock of Gibraltar— SPAIN
• Eating paella, tapas, chorizo, and lollipops—
• Playing chapas, cesta punta (Jai Alai), and fútbol
• Cordoba at springtime, Tabernas (Europe’s only
desert), and La Tomatina (Tomato Festival)—
• Barcelona, Madrid, and Seville—
• Flamenco dancing, the running of the bulls Destination:
(Pamplona), and the tooth mouse—
God loves Spain and so does One Mission Kids!
