head.
All MIE V8 5.7L and 6.2L inboard engines with dual dipstick tubes have the dipstick 93320A13
tube hole in the block plugged with this plug 3 in. (76 mm)
Fits MCM V‑6 carb & TBI engines with 2 piece exhaust manifolds (s/n 0M614999 &
SHIM KIT - REAR MCM ENGINE MOUNT below).
Fits MCM/MIE/Tow Sports V‑8 (305, 350, 377, 454 & 502 cid) engines with cast
iron elbows (s/n 0M299999 & below); MCM V‑8 (305 & 350 cid) carb engines (s/n
SHIM KIT 0M300000‑0M599999) and MIE & Tow Sports carb engines (s/n

This shim kit is required for newer transoms that no longer utilized a double‑wound
spring washer and a fiber washer between the rear engine mounts and do not have 93322A12
enough downward adjustment with the front engine mount pads to achieve proper
alignment in the boat. This situation may be encountered when installing an engine 6 in. (152 mm)
