FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Sue
Bird and Breanna Stewart
fretted following the regu-
lar-season opener after the
Seattle Storm lost at home
to the Phoenix Mercury.
“We thought, ‘Oh, crap,
what kind of year is this
