DAY 3 Travel to Toledo, a UNESCO site and the capital of medieval
Spain, to see the magnificent Toledo Cathedral and 13th-century
synagogue. In the Church of Santo Tome view El Greco’s masterpiece,
then explore at leisure before returning to Madrid. B
DAY 4 Admire stunning landscapes from your high-speed train to
Moorish Cordoba. On a walking tour of the Mezquita, a UNESCO World
Heritage site, visit the breathtaking Great Mosque, converted into the
city’s cathedral when the Christians conquered the region in 1236. Stroll
narrow streets of the historic Jewish Quarter before continuing to
enchanting Seville, and dinner of local specialties. B D
DAY 5 Join a local expert for intriguing stories of Seville as you
see Giralda Bell Tower and majestic UNESCO-acclaimed Seville
Cathedral. Explore winding narrow streets of whitewashed buildings
and flower-draped courtyards in Barrio Santa Cruz, the old Jewish
Quarter. Continue exploring on your own before taking your reserved

DAY 8 Savor the breathtaking views as we head to the town of Sintra,
the summer residence of Portuguese kings for six centuries. Explore
the colorful tile lined alleyways as you peruse specialty shops filled with
Portuguese handicrafts. Outdoor cafes make for a lovely chance to relax
and enjoy a pastry as you admire this beautiful UNESCO town. B
