DAY 4 An early start at the show lets us celebrate QuiltWeek – Paducah Mississippi Alabama Georgia
as it officially opens to public. Spend it admiring hundreds of quilts on
display and shopping for antique quilts, wearable art, books, craft and
sewing supplies, fabrics, buttons, trims, patterns…and more! Enjoy some
Southern hospitality tonight as we dine at Patti’s Settlement. B D
DAY 5 Return to the show at your leisure (your ticket is included), join
a pre-booked class, or explore Quilt City U.S.A., where shops join in a
town-wide celebration. From the old 5&10 to the candy shop, windows
throughout this turn-of-the-century town are decorated with quilts.
Join quilters and crafters from around the world for trolley rides,
sidewalk sales, church bazaars, and shopping for local crafts,
antiques, and collectibles. B
DAY 6 Don’t miss the annual Rotary Club Antique Quilt Show featuring
beautiful antique quilts, all from vendors carefully selected for discriminating
shoppers. Grab a slice of homemade cherry pie downtown before visiting
the National Quilt Museum proudly displaying over 200 quilts in various
exhibitions. This evening at our Farewell Dinner, you can trade stories of
your favorite sites and finds before seeing Ricky Tims perform live. B D

DAY 7 Returning to Nashville, visit Opryland Hotel’s massive domed
conservatories where winding tree-draped pathways lead past
waterfalls and meandering waterways. Over two acres of conservatory
gardens are devoted solely to tropical plants, and another two are filled
with a waterfall cascading into a 12,000-square-foot indoor lake. B
