DAY 3 This morning, we’ll visit the area’s favorite quilt shop! Here shelves and
cabinets are filled with fabrics, including Texas prints and hand-dyed and marbleized
fabrics, and antique spool cabinets overflow with specialty buttons, trims, notions,
and patterns. Later, we’ll travel to the Bavarian village of Fredericksburg to see the
“gingerbread” houses and explore the shoppes of fine crafts and bakeries that
specialize in strudels and German pretzels. B D
