heart defects needed to be repaired. As soon as he was stable enough to survive the surgery,
th
he underwent a repair of his VSD. On December 17 , Jerome joined the crew at Heartbridge.
At four months of age, Jerome weighs just six pounds, but we’re sure our fantastic nannies will
soon have him putting on the pounds. Welcome, Jerome! We can’t wait to watch you blossom!
The Rest of the Gang
Six month old Olive is the currently the “social butterfly” of Heartbridge. This little one loves to
interact with the staff and is constantly following the home’s action with her eyes. When the
nannies come towards her, she flashes her biggest smile in the hopes of being picked up.
Sometimes if she’s not picked up quickly, she screams to get the attention of the closest
nanny! Olive is a light sleeper and now wants to be soothed to sleep with music. That’s all well
and good, but if the radio is turned off too soon before she’s deep in sleep, her eyes snap open
and she cries fiercely! After her “beauty sleep”, she’s back to being her easygoing self.
Because Olive is almost always happy and
smiling and her skin is creamy and
smooth, the nannies call her “Mei-
Nu” (Beautiful Lady).

know all the good
that a simple
smile can do”
