Month/Year
Erin turned two at the end of December. She continues to make steady, but slow progress in
<Program Name> News sit up for
her physical development. She’s now able to roll around during Tummy Time and can
longer periods in the Bumbo seat. Her very favorite seat is her nanny’s lap, though. When she
sits on Nanny’s lap, she can be supported just enough to make her feel comfortable, but also
to allow her to interact by clapping or doing the gestures that her nanny asks her to do.
Sometimes Erin entertains the staff by making silly faces or “pouting” and she can copy simple
            sounds like “boo-boo” or “ma-ma”.

               Silly girl

Eleven month old Jimmy loves to have his picture taken. In fact, when Zhang Ming comes into
the room with his camera, Jimmy immediately jumps up and down in his crib and wants to be
put in the walker so he can zoom around and push his way into any photos being taken.
Photobomber! He also likes it when Nanny puts a hat on him for his photos. Most babies will
immediately try to take a hat off, but Jimmy actually likes to pose with a wide variety of hats.
Lately, Jimmy’s favorite game is “How many times will Nanny pick up a toy I drop?” He’ll drop a
toy and wait expectantly for his nanny to fetch it for him so he can drop it again. Over and over
and over he drops the toy until his nanny is tired of playing. Then he puts on his best
disappointed face or sometimes even stamps his foot!
Jimmy is now able to cruise around the furniture and it won’t be long before he doesn’t need
the walker to photobomb around Heartbridge.
