their name to Arabian Horse Registry of America) and IAHA. The purpose of the AHS was to create an entity
by which IAHA and AHCA could communicate, cooperate, coordinate and basically bring these two
organizations together to work in the best interests of the Arabian horse breed, since, at the time, there
were personality conflicts which seemed to get in the way of cooperation. This concept worked very well
but faded away when the need no longer existed.

Jay was a resounding success in every endeavor he tackled throughout his life. Jay got the job done! One
just got caught up in the hurricane of progress Jay always created in everything he tackled. What a mentor!
Knowing and working with Jay has enriched my (Lorry Wagner) life many-fold!

                   Ronald Reagan
Steve Dorsi, Jay Stream’s lawyer, remembers that Jay and
Ronald Reagan were friends before he became Governor of
California. Ronald and Jay were connected by their love for
horses. They stayed close friends throughout their lives. Jay was
involved in the transaction where Reagan gave a horse to
Mexican President José López Portillo. Apparently, Jay and
Ronald were often photographed together but there was one
photo Jay treasured more than any of them. When asked why,
Jay said it’s because Ronald then was President. Steven was
once involved in making the arrangements for Jay’s aircraft to
land alongside Airforce One. Jay Stream was in the welcoming
                   party.
