  The Seafox, developed by Atlas Elektronik, is a fiber-optic-guided ROV that can be used for the SCM mission (Seafox I), or it can be loaded with an explosive charge and used for the RIN phase (Seafox C, for combat). The vehicle can be used against short and long tethered mines and proud bottom mines. The vehicle system is made up of a console, a launcher, and the Seafox vehicles.
The Seafox (Figure 21.10) uses its integrated sonar to reacquire the target and a CCTV camera to identify it. Once identified, the vehicle can use four independent, reversible thrusters, and one vertical thruster for high maneuverability prior to firing the shaped charge.
