Compost, 2018 £550
Compost is a piece from a series of artworks looking at the relationship between the structure of teeth and the structure of plants. This piece is deliberately slightly ambiguous in that it is inspired by both anatomical illustrations of the jawbone, and botanical sketches of bulbs planted in soil. Georgia wanted to explore the idea of rebirth and the circle of life by depicting the teeth blossoming into new plants and in turn, transform the negative connotations of decay into something more hopeful.
