Kimberley Appleyard Pallot is Director of Art at St Mary’s Calne, Council Member of NSEAD (National Society for Education in Art and Design) and Founder of the South WestArtistTeachers’Network.
The recent focus of Kimberley’s ceramic practice explores the relationship between traditional methods of the potter, materiality, truth and epistemic closure.The use of porcelain implies a sense of domesticity, drawing on cultural attitudes, east and west, value and taste.
