This past July, with over 3,000 people in attendance, our American Independence Museum in Exeter hosted the 29th Annual American Independence Festival. We are pleased to report that with the generous assistance of the New Hampshire Land and Community Heritage Investment Program, several family foundations and many private donors, major restoration of the museum campus is currently underway. Visitors will witness the Ladd-Gilman House transform in the coming years, with new pathways that will connect our campus and the town of Exeter.
