Special Subjects
Technology and Livelihood Education provides activities for the development of economic independence through the acquisition of the competencies or skills in cooking, bread and pastry production, food and beverage service, and food processing.
Information and Communications Technology (ICT) education equips students with ICT capability and digital literacy through its core subjects: Computer Basics, Digital Media, Webpage Design and Development, Basic Coding and Programming. The curriculum’s aim is for students to think critically, communicate ideas and information creatively, work collaboratively with others and solve problems innovatively as they become responsible users of technology.
Values Education strengthens students’ behavior and attitudes as members of their community and society. It encourages students to relate their thoughts and feelings; make them examine their values and that of others; how their values affect relationships and events in their lives; and how they can achieve maturity that will have a major influence in achieving a sustainable future.
Music and Arts, Physical Education, and Health (MAPEH)
cover the following subjects:
Music and Arts channel the creative energies of students through folk, classical, and contemporary music, theater arts, and art lessons. Students learn to understand how music and art are shaped and influenced by history and culture.
Physical Education channels the energies of the adolescent through sports and dance.
