Practical Research 2 (Practical Research/Quantitative Research in Daily Life) introduces research skills and theoretical approaches from the Social Sciences to orient students to the quantitative research approach. It aims to develop the student’s ability to design a research approach that appropriately and ethically addresses a given research objective. The critical thinking and rigor instilled in the students will help them gain a data-driven perspective on current affairs. Note on Prerequisite(s): Mathematics 2 (Statistics and Probability)
Accountancy and Business Management 1 (Fundamentals of Accountancy, Business, and Management) introduces the students to accounting and business and management data analysis, which will develop their appreciation for accounting as a language of business. Note on Prerequisite(s): None
Accountancy and Business Management 2 (Entrepreneurship)
introduces the students to the concepts, principles, processes, and implementation of a business plan leading to the exploration of career opportunities. Moreover, it aims to integrate the fundamental concepts, principles, and practices of ethical standards in the business environment. Note on Prerequisite(s): None
Specialized Subjects
Social Science 5 (Trends, Networks, and Critical Thinking in the 21st Century) extends the relevance, application, and usage of Philosophy to emerging trends and states of affairs brought about by globalization. This course develops the students’ critical thinking necessary for understanding and battling present-day situations and challenges in a post-truth world. It also aims to impart caring, creative, and reflective thinking skills in correspondence with the call for a better society. Note on Prerequisite(s): Social Science 2 and Philosophy 1
