The “Shaw Insurance Group” is the term used in this and other marketing literature to refer to Shaw Insurance Limited and its wholly-owned subsidiaries. The Shaw Insurance Group is not a legal entity in itself and Shaw Insurance Limited (also known as “Shaw Insurance”) is the only company within the group which is licensed to write insurance business.
Shaw Insurance Limited is incorporated in Guernsey under the Companies (Guernsey) Law 2008, as amended (registration number 62090) and it is licensed by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission under Section 7 of the Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2002 to undertake long term insurance business (GFSC reference 2292718). Its registered office is Albert House, South Esplanade, St Peter Port, Guernsey, Channel Islands GY1 1AW.
