HOPE FOR HAITI

CONCLUSION

Five years after the earthquake, Haiti yet still stands, she yet still allows for the abandoned to find
solace, for children to find sanctuary; and for those kind-hearted ones who stay for reconstruction
and improvement, those who can see past all the darkness, and see the replanted trees atop Haiti’s
proud mountains overlooking her capital, where it once was yellow and arid due to deforestation
is now ever increasingly luscious and vibrant green, may they continue their work, and, perhaps
one day show the world the beauty beneath, above, and within it all.
