The Maintenance Challenge

While Bio-Toilets, have contributed immensely in

improving cleanliness on IR, the maintenance challenge

to keep the bio-toilets functional, clean & odourless is a

stiff call.

Some of the many challenges:

• Changing Customer habits (of poor toilet habits,

even flushing-after-use & not using the toilet

discharge as a waste dump).

• Fight Choking of Toilets owing to the non-

degradable PET bottles, cloths, pads, nappies,

gutka pouches being routinely dumped in.

• Coach undergear maintenance in Coaching

depots.

• Countering smell
