The main objective of this project is to conduct research and figure out the main reasons why the Skills Future program is not
being utilized by Singaporeans to its fullest potential. This program allocates S$500 initial Skills Future credits to Singaporeans
aged 25 and above allows them to enroll for any supported course of their choice, to help further develop their skills in any
area(s) that they might desire. Only 6% of out of 2.1M Singaporeans have utilized this program till now. Primary research will
consist of surveying 125 Singaporeans about the Skills Future program and in addition we will also conduct secondary research
consisting of analyzing journal articles and past surveys to ensure that we can get to the root of the problem. Our expected
project outcomes are to figure out the extent to which Singaporeans are aware of and utilizing the Skills Future program, the key
reasons why 94% of Singaporeans have not applied for the Skills Future program and determining Singaporeans preferences on
timing, duration, cost and delivery model of potential Skills Future courses they may want to use their Skills Future credits on.
