                   At the end of this unit, readers will be able to:
                     Understand  and  to  perform  a  7-step  hypothesis  test  for
                       ANOVA  paired  group  means  using  the  appropriate
                       formula.
                     Distinguish difference between Two-sample independent t
                       test and ANOVA.

                     Identify when to use ANOVA tests in research.
                     Practically conduct ANOVA t test in SPSS.
                     Understand the assumptions for an ANOVA F-test.
                     Interpret ANOVA (F test) results.
                     Write statistical and research conclusion in APA style.


                                          ANOVA

               The t-test compares the means between two samples and is simple
               to  conduct,  but  if  there  are  more  than  two  conditions  in  an
               experiment  an  ANOVA  is  required.  ANOVA  stands  for  ANalysis  Of
               Variance. The fact the ANOVA can test more than one treatment is a
               major  advantage  over  other  statistical  analysis  such  as  the  t-test.
               ANOVA (analysis of variance) tests are used to compare the means
               of multiple groups (as opposed to the t-test, which can only be used
               for up to two groups). It is important to know that when looking at
