There is just something about the color pink!
It makes people feel a certain way. Pink is unapologetically feminine, and that’s powerful!
In 1910 when Elizabeth Arden was getting ready to open her rst spa on 5th avenue, She chose a pink damask fabric for the walls. She felt that pink re ected a attering light on
the room and the people in it.
Always the brilliant business woman, she had an inherent understanding of branding, which led her to frequently dress in pink! It became her signature color.
The color was a trademark in her salons and packaging, and she felt
it wise to strengthen the association.
At one time over 50 shades of Elizabeth Arden lipstick were pink!
Elizabeth’s eye for color shades was notorious. A single color meeting could last an entire day as Elizabeth scrutinized every shade of new lipstick.
