FORM 10A1
           FORM TEACHER: Mr. Cordwell.
           FORM CAPTAIN : John Skippen.
           FORM VICE-CAPTAIN : Greg Andrews.
           DEPUTY CAPTAIN : Caroline Greenway.
Is 10A1 the class it has been made out to be by slanderous rumours-?
           Mervyn Glue reports.
We ask Mr. Schuntner about the validity of the following question: “Do
the girls of 10A1 really think you are smooth?" With a smirk he replies,
“That question is a little rough". With unanimous jeers 10A1 replies,
“CENSORED!” When asked what they thought of the new library systems.
10A1 said, “So long as ‘Lady Chatterly's Lover' and other assorted, associated
books are included, we are in favour of the scheme".
In answer to this damning statement. Miss Coghlan said, “All new books
are read by staff and. if considered unfit for student eyes, are placed in the
           staffs private library".
We now cross to our overseas correspondent to talk to Mrs. Pridannikoff.
residing in transplanted Leningrad, formally known as A10.
“How do you react to 10A1?"
Brandishing her sabre, she replied. “Fumingly".
While sitting in the back of E3, listening to comments passing between
Miss Tighe and students. I noted these few remarks.
Miss Tighe (looking flustered): “No. Natalie, use Badezimmer (bathroom).
There is no W.C. zimmer in High German.
The best of what was said between teachers and students burnt the paper
           and could not be saved.
Mrs. Hamiliton. with reference to a certain Senior who walks around the
school 7th and 8th period, Tuesdays: “Who is that boy?" With unanimous cheers,
           10A1 replied, “Frazer Blade".
Mr. Cordwell (form teacher) we thought would be the one most likely to
know the truth about 10A1. “They are a normal bunch of hoods — er —
students", he said, “with a sprinkling of intelligence and maturity here and there.
namely: Caroline. Kathy. Julie. Wendy. Alex, Jeanette. Sandra. Melita. Natalie.
Ian J.. Ian C., Greg H.. Greg A.. Bill C.. Geoff. Wayne, Michael. Phillip, Paul.
John. Danny, Chris. Mark. Griff. Arthur. Marty. Garry and Robert" (entire
           class).
10A1 wishes good luck to the Juniors and Seniors in their forthcoming
           examinations — especially us.
