When Snake looked to the sky, he saw Eagle. He
too said, “So, Hare was right! Eagle has come
to eat me. Let me wait for him. Once he comes
down, I will bite him.”
Before Snake knew it, Eagle had come down. He
snatched Snake with his sharp claws. Then he
flew back to the sky again. Eagle said, “So, you
want to bite us and take all the animals? Today
I will teach you a lesson! I am taking you high up
in the sky. Then I will let you fall to the ground!”
Snake was surprised. He said, “Wait a moment.
You are saying that I want to bite you?”
“Yes! You want to deny that?” asked Eagle.
“But Hare told me that you and Hyena want to
eat us?” Snake said.
