The first course is normally soup and you will observe
the soup spoon on the right hand side.
The second course is sometimes a fish course and you
will observe the fish knife is different from the other
knives. It is broader that the other knives.
The third because is the main course which has all the
meat and vegetables on the plate.
The fourth course is the pudding or sweet course and
you will observe the spoon and fork for this course is
usually positioned above the place setting.
The fifth course is the cheese and biscuits and the
knife for this course is usually placed on the plate on
the left hand side.
The dinner is usually finished off with a cup of coffee
and a chocolate mint.
You will also observe two glasses one is for a red wine
and the other for white wine. The white wine is
normally drunk with the fish course The red wine is
drunk with the other courses.
