We were looking at the zebras and my granddaughter

asked a very searching question, 'Grandad are zebras
white with black stripes on or are they black the white

stripes on?'

This been a very searching question I answered her, 'It

depends on which day of the week you are looking at

them'. She looked at me totally confused as I expected
and then ran off to play with her brother.

The children enjoyed their visit to the zoo and we
ended up with them having a ride in the toy car.
