In this photo you will see a Magnolia tree in full

blossom. It really is quite spectacular and the
blossoms are very large and as you can see from the

photo really do fill up the entire tree.

Despite the fact the blossoms are very large they only

last a few days, a week at most.

This particular tree is in the garden of a little cottage

and one of the features of this cottage is the roof. It is
in fact a thatched roof. In this part of England there

are many cottages which have thatched roofs as there
