Kimika Foster is an author and Dallas, TX na- tive. She is also a model, radio show host, actress and community activist. Her mission is to elim- inate certain derogatory labels from the English language that are regularly placed on women. The goal is to empower women to not be ashamed or afraid of being who they are, and not inhibited by the pressures to conform to what society says is ac- ceptable for women. Her first self published book called S.L.U.T. Women “Society’s Labels Unfairly Targeting Women” has generated much buzz and controversy! This movement continues to pick up supporters and solidify itself as the HOTTEST NEW BOOK IN THE DALLAS-FT. WORTH METROPLEX with already over 100 copies sold since it’s debut in May of 2016! She is best known for being a host on the popular Please Be Honest Radio Show. She encourages interactions with her listners and readers through comments and ques- tions via her social media group.
She plans to start her own nonprofit organiza- tion that mentors to single mothers raising their sons. As a single divorced mother of 2 children she understands the unnatural burden that has been placed on single mother’s that raise their sons to be men. It has helped her to see the dangers of over codling and nuturing of young boys. This program makes an attempt to rectify the absentee father epidemic plaguing the black community. She is an organizer for the Community Economic Opportunity Program that plans to bring wealth and finance understanding to the DFW Metrop- lex. She is a Precinct Chairman in her district and understands the importance of the African Amer- ican vote. She also is a licensed life insurance agent for Primerica, and is determined to make a difference and leave a legacy behind.
