A Marriage That Matters

I think we can all agree that marriages today do not mirror marriages of the 1950s. Some have even given up on the dream of getting married or staying married. If you have lost hope, Bobbi and Steve Johnson, founders of the Myx, will inspire you and help rekindle the fire.
Bobbi and Steve Johnson, you two are what many peo- ple would consider to be a power couple. Can you share with us first, how you two met – who is Bobbi and Steve Johnson?
The first time I saw Bobbi was at church. I knew something that she didn’t know. I knew at 9 years old that she would be my wife and I spent the next 14 years trying to convince her. Our relationship was more of me having a crush on an “older woman”. She used to hang out with my big sister and as little brothers do, I was crushing on my sister’s friend. touch and reconnected about a decade later but quickly realized that our bond of friendship was still there. From that bond, we built love and eventually made love. We’ve been married for 12 years and have 4 children.
What is The Myx? Why the Myx?
We got married at a time when everyone around us was getting married. It seemed like we were at a different wedding every weekend. Fast-forward 10 years later, we realized that almost every single couple that we watched exchange vows was divorced. We were shocked every time we got the news of another divorce.
