The community is significant for Jrnie, graduating
high school two years earlier than the rest of her friends gave her the ability to pursue other ventures/desires of her heart with health and fitness being an essential part of her day. Recognizing the importance of having disci- pline in an exercise she shares the ability that sweat has allowed her to grow and get through tough situations that otherwise may have broken her. Stating some- times, okay most of the time being at the trendiest place isn’t what the body or soul needs because the people are pretentious and leave you feeling alone. An over- whelming amount of grief fell upon her as a grandpar- ent got the Dirty C otherwise known as cancer. She felt like her world was crumbling. Her boyfriend wanted to end their relationship. Going through the breakup with her friend she had been very close with since the junior high age sent her into a downward spiral plus both her grandparents maternally and paternally. Stress
eating led to weight gain and left her feeling insecure. To not be depressed, she knew the way to combat this dark period in life comes through the effect of physical exer- cise and decided to return to a strict regimen she previ- ously followed when she was fighting in her adolescence and preteens. She left Lifetime Fitness after encountering a monumental moment in history shopping in the Vi- tamin Shop. This encounter came with an invitation to visit Destination Dallas located in Plano, TX. After vis- iting the first time, she was overwhelmed with joy by the opening of arms and hearts by the staff and members. She says she never felt a fraction of the love in the two years at Lifetime that she thought within moments of Destination Dallas.
She describes Destination Dallas as a bodybuilding haven. Fitness competitor athletes have their own niche where the support is needed when stepping on a stage putting yourself in the front of a panel of judges. At one point in time or another everyone feels insecure. When deciding to do her first competition, she took on the in- terviewing of coaches as if she were interviewing spous- es. Stating all relationships are like marriages. You have to completely trust the person because they will be apart of the most intimate moments in your life: heartache, disappointment, celebration, excitement, winnings, pic- tures, foods, attitudes. She interviewed three coaches be- fore finding the perfect fit. Training for nearly two years straight before stepping foot on a live stage paid off as she won her first competition and became NPC Competitor with Coach Robert Slater taking the Crown: Miss Teen. Is proud to say she is a natural competitor which means she is drug-free frowning upon the use of boosters and enhancers. Women are very determined strong creatures that seek to win at any means she wants everyone to know the long term effects of drug use on the body and mind isn’t worth the short term effects leading to a win. Kid- ney damage, extreme acne, shrinking of the testicles and increase in mammary glands in men and for women kid- ney damage as well plus the enlarged clitoris, damage to ovaries and decrease in breast size. Drug use in physique competitions she asks all to not use. It is just not worth the results when compared to the gains in achieving a specified look. Another reason she says finding a coach and team you trust that will frown upon the destruction of self for a temporary benefit. Now apart of an interna- tional organization out of Austin, TX. All the trust, rela- tionship, and progress has shown favor on her, and she hopes to inspire all that see her by seeing through to your hearts’ desires in a loving, drug-free environment.
Next, on the agenda in addition to her full college
