1. Physical dimension:
It means the state of physical health, which implies the motion
of “perfect functioning” of the body.
Signs of physical health:
Clean skin.
Bright eyes.
Lustrous hair with a body well clothed with firm flesh- not too fat.
Sweet breath.
Good appetite.
Sound sleep.
Regular activity of bowels and bladder.
Easy coordinated bodily movements.
All organs of the body are function normally
All special senses are intact
Pulse rate, blood pressure exercise tolerance are all within the
range of “normality” for the individual’s age and sex.
2. Mental dimension:
Mental health is not mere absence of mental illness. Good mental
health is the ability to respond to the many varied experiences of life with
flexibility and a sense of purpose.
