With North Coast Music Festival celebrating fifteen years of excellence, it made me think
about progression. How ideas evolve and thrive over the course of time. You see, a festival
is a commemoration filled with performers who have personally committed themselves to
the discipline of their craft. The consistency of their actions propels them throughout their
careers. When you commit yourself fully to an endeavor and share the results of your labor,
you’ll find many souls following your waves. In my mind, throwing successive festival
editions is a celebration of ideals and commitment to their implementation.

To throw a festival of any magnitude is a tall order, but the way North Coast continues to put
together exceptional celebrations year after year is an impressive feat. It speaks volumes
about the people behind the scenes who dutifully commit themselves to a common goal.
Every single person that is part of the staff has a job to do and they do it well. While the
performers on stage are the main draw, for them to do their job entertaining audiences
deserves gratitude to the efforts of many who often go thankless. In this moment, I’d like to
show appreciation to the personnel and staff of North Coast Music Festival and Collectiv
Present for their dedication in ensuring all aspects of this celebration were executed to the
highest degree of excellence. From security personnel who were warm and polite to the
men and women responsible for the design and construction of the stages, as well those
who cleaned and maintained the grounds each and every day, myself and many others give
our thanks.

Throughout its history, North Coast Music Festival has built a solid reputation for
representing scintillating entertainment. Each and every year’s planning and execution has
met with success, and this year’s revelry continued that trend. North Coast Music Festival’s
15-year anniversary celebration was a monumental achievement full of sights and sounds
those who party within the electronic realm have come to appreciate. This year’s celebration
will be hard to top, but you best believe the organizers of Collectiv Presents are likely
already brainstorming ways they can continue to scale the quality of this Chicago’s summer
end celebration upwards in eclipsing fashion. North Coast Music Festival in 2025 was an
awesome spectacle to experience and behold. Well done and well played to all involved.
