          •Salaries are paid in local currency (EGP pounds).
•Salaries are payable by the end of each month by bank transfer
•School is responsible for opening bank accounts for each new hired employee
•While the paper work is in process, the newly appointees will receive their salaries in cash at the end of each month.
•Any deductions from an employee’s salary will be in case that the employee fails to abide to the school’s regulations.
•Any absence or unpaid leave during the year will affect his annual appraisal & evaluation
•Employees who chose not to renew their contracts are required to fulfill certain requirements and complete certain procedures for leaving GEMS before receiving their entitlements.

Staff Children’s Education Allowances:
A staff member who has spent one year of service & chose to enroll their children at GEMS will be provided 25%, admin staff discount on school fees will be provided 15%, after the child passed entrance exam and after the approval granted by the School Director
Baby Room:
The school operates a baby room which renders female employees a supervised service for their babies and toddlers up to three years old at a reasonable fee subject to availability.
