The Chinese Drums Club was formed in 2001 by a group of NTU students who were
fascinated by the “24 Festive” Chinese Drums. As the name suggests, this performance
involves 24 drummers creating a mesmerising rhythm along with choreographed
movements.
In our club, students from different drumming and cultural backgrounds come together
to perform 10 breathtaking performances annually, both for events within and outside
of campus. We are proud to spread awareness of the Chinese Drums culture to the
public. You wouldn’t want to miss out on our performances!
The Chinese Drums Club is a multicultural club open to all races and backgrounds — no
prior experience in drumming is needed. Our only requirement is passion for the culture
of the 24 Festive Drums!
