Established in 2005, Jazz and Blues is a group of passionate and driven musicians that
come together to play jazz, blues, and their related sub-genres. Under the tutelage of
local jazz musicians Joshua Wan and Eugenia Yip from the band The Steve McQueens,
our members strive towards becoming better musicians with each passing performance.
Our members’ performances are showcased in our mid-semester productions: an
informal, on-campus performance Campus Groove, and our flagship concert, Hourglass.
Our club houses multiple small bands, where each musician has a crucial role to play.
We welcome you to join us if you are interested in the genres and tunes we play, and
are looking for an avenue to grow musically!
