The Symphonic Band was formed in 1990 and has close to 30 years of history in the local
band scene. We strive for high quality performances and constantly seek to improve
ourselves. Under the baton of conductor Takehiro Oura, the band continues to grow
musically with each performance.
We also frequently participate in competitions, overseas exchanges, and other local
performances to give our musicians a great amount of exposure. Our annual concert,
Sojourn, is a platform for our musicians to showcase their efforts to audiences.
Additionally, our members are also free to form ensembles and perform self-arranged
music for school events and external events.
As a member, you can expect to be exposed to new music, challenged technically, and
grow alongside other passionate individuals. Join us if this is what you would like to
