Soul Funky was formed in 2008 by Fabian Wong to spread the love of locking and
popping within NTU. We started off as a sub-club under Nocturnal Rhythmz Crew, NTU’s
premier Breakdance club, but have since grown to a 70-strong independent club today.
We comprise of mostly lockers and poppers, but we also pursue interests in waacking,
house and other funky/soul styles. We have taken part in external competitions and
dance showcases, and also actively perform at various school events.
If you are interested in learning how to dance, love funky music or music in general…
Soul Funky is the place for you! No prior dance background is required, just an open
mind!
