e-Gopang EV Charging Station Solution – B2L study in Jeju island Redesigning energy on earth
269MW Wind Turbine
179MW PV
Total 450MW DERs
638MW W-T Development
16,588 EV
(430MWh Potential
Resource)
Peak Load of 670kW at
May~June
Peak Load of 925kW
at ’19.8.6. 17:00~18:00
• DERs in Jeju are up to 450MW and generate power up to the max Load in Spring and Fall so that 50% of total load is generated > Deceleration of
DERs for grid resilience incurs low efficiency of DERs > Going against Carbon Free Island
• Expansion of e-Gopang stations will transform EVC loads into predictable base loads, capture surplus power from DERs, and give them back to
BEV, which will be the start of the smart city energy platform that will be used as available power resources through V2G
• E-Gopang solutions enable ESP to provide cVPP services, generate revenue from a variety of energy revenue models, along with the proliferation
of small-scale charging companies.
